I accredit my Danish heritage for a lot of my design sensibility, so when I got to illustrate and create this pattern myself? I was thrilled! While the project was inspired by Norwegian patterning, I used colors that aren’t typically associated with Scandinavian design in favor of a more accurate representation of the flowers and animals (the cow).

I had a lot of fun as a production intern for She She, a Minneapolis based Print + Pattern Studio. I worked closely with the co-owners Kate Worum and Jenny Jorgensen, who both somehow achieved an amazing balance of pushing me forward while still leaning back to watch me explore.
